GENERAL INFORMATION
Introduction Program: This program is intended for the new player to hockey who has little to no experience. Introduction to skating and hockey skills will be covered during this program.
Mini Mites thru Peewee divisions will be played utilizing the 3 x 3 format which is played on half ice. The 3 x 3 format is intended to keep the game fast and exciting for
the players participating in the league. Unlike the traditional 5 x 5 regulation game where the average player only touches the puck about 20-25 seconds per game, a player playing 3 x 3 will greatly increase their opportunities to practice their puck control ability in a small confined area under pressure. Games will consist of a 5 minute warm up followed by 4-10 minute run time periods with a break in between each period. A 4 x 4 format be take place depending on enrollment.
The High School division may be playing 12 full ice 4 x 4 games with one full ice practices depending on enrollment. Our goal for this division is to organize all Bantams
and Midget Players into three or four equal teams. All teams will be made up of at least 9 skaters and 1 goalie. Player who are going to be of Bantam age or higher will be
eligible to play in this division as long as they have not already graduated from High School. Some exceptions may apply. Games will consist of a 5 minute warm up followed
by 3- 15 minute run time periods with one minute break in between each period. No game in the High school division will end in a tie. In the event of a tie at the end
of regulation each team will enter into a three round shoot out to determine the winner. If there is still a tie after three rounds then teams will continue round by round until
there is a winner.
The format for all programs is subject to change depending on the number of players who enroll.
