In order to become an KCHA coach, you must first complete a few simple tasks.

1.) An KCHA Coaching Application must be filled out in its entirety.

* Upon being selected to a head or an assistant coaching position, you will need to complete the following:

2.) Register as a coach with USA Hockey at http://usahockeyregistration.com/

3.) Obtain your proper USA Hockey coaching card (certification) - Do this by signing up for and completing coaching certification clinics. Coaches have until December 31st of each season to obtain their credentials. (Keep your receipts! KCHA Coaches are eligible for reimbursement for USA Hockey registration and coaching clinics). 4.) Fill out a consent to be screened form.
